Toni
Rembe - President
Toni Rembe has served as Trustee since 1971 and as President since 1994.
She is a partner in the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP
(formerly Pillsbury Winthrop). She is past President of the Commonwealth Club of
California; past President and now Board member of the American Conservatory
Theater.
Dan
Corsello -
Executive Director
Dan Corsello, former Director of
Napa County Health and Human Services Agency and Founder and former
Executive Director of the Napa County Coalition of Non-Profit
organizations, has been Executive Director of the van Loben Sels/RembeRock
Foundation since 2002. Dan was also a consultant to the Peter & Vernice
Gasser Foundation. Dan has previously served on the Board of Directors
of a number of non-profit organizations and Commissions, including the
First Five Commission, Head Start, Legal Aid of the Napa Valley, the
Napa County Community Health Clinic, and Queen of the Valley Hospital of
the St. Joseph Health System.
Richard
W. Odgers – Secretary
Dick Odgers has served as Trustee since 1994. He is a partner in the law
firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (formerly Pillsbury Winthrop).
Dick began his career at Pillsbury; then, in 1987, became Executive Vice
President and General Counsel of Pacific Telesis & Pacific Bell. He
returned to Pillsbury in 1998. Dick now serves on the boards of two
organizations which provide legal services to low-income people and on
that of another devoted to reducing gun violence. Dick also serves as a
member of the California Legal Services Trust Fund Commission, the
California Task Force on Lawyer Support for Legal Services, and the
Board of Visitors for the University of Michigan's Ford School of Public
Policy. Dick is also a member of the Advisory Board of the San Francisco
Lawyers Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
Edward
A. Nathan, M.S.W. - Director Emeritus
Edward A. Nathan, a former Executive Director of
the Zellerbach Family Fund, has served as Trustee since 1971. He was Coordinator
of Mental Health Services for Contra Costa County, where he also served as
Director of Field Work and Lecturer for the University of California Berkeley,
School of Social Welfare. Mr. Nathan was also the co-founder of the Bay Area
Social Service Consortium (BASSC).
Joyce Taylor - Treasurer
Joyce M. Taylor has served as Trustee since 2008. She retired from AT&T in 2007
where she served as Senior Vice President-External Affairs (North). She has
previously served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations including
United Way of the Bay Area, Tech Museum of Innovation and San Francisco Ballet.
Julie Divola - Trustee
Julie
Divola is a partner and leader of the San Francisco tax practice in the law firm
of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. She is a member of the Nominating
Committee and past chair of the Corporate Tax Committee of the American Bar
Association Tax Section. She serves on the Executive Committee of the
California State Bar Association Tax Section, where she was chair of the
Corporate Tax/Corporate Tax Counsel Committee and chair of the Passthroughs and
Real Estate Tax Committee. She is a past president of the San Francisco Tax
Club. Julie was an adjunct professor of law at the University of San Francisco
School of Law. She serves as co-chair of the ALI-ABA annual Course of Study on
Corporate Taxation and as a member of the editorial board of the Practical Tax
Lawyer. She is Secretary and a member of the board of the BASIC Fund.
